Josh Fix hires Interstellar Data to develop a multimedia web site as part of a campaign to promote the release of the San Francisco musician's first album. The developer integrated a streaming XML music player, semi-transparent pages with transitions and dynamic, updateable text to produce the music web site.
The developer coded the site in Flash under direction from the artist himself.
Mr. Fix envisioned neo-psychedelic graphics with dots, bold stripes and a vibrant
color palette. The site contains sub pages with press information, news, tour
dates, bio and contact information.
The new album, "Free at Last" will be released later this year on CD and through digital download.
There are plans to release an enhanced multimedia version of the album in early 2008. The musician is wrapping up production of a music video for the track, "Don't Call Me In The Morning."
Josh Fix has caused quite a buzz in his native San Francisco, progressing in short time from winner of a local demo contest to opening for the Who and gaining the enthusiastic support of Lenny Kravitz and Eddie Van Halen. Along the way, the 29-year old has drawn comparisons to everyone from Ben Folds and Billy Joel to Elton John and Queen.

Aram Danesh and The Super Human Crew hires Interstellar Data to design a music web site for the hip-hop / jazz band based in the San Francisco Bay area. The site uses original photography and graphics to produce a street-wise yet sophisticated atmosphere. The Flash site provides band information, upcoming shows and sample mp3 tracks. ":It looks cool - sort of retro - sort of classic car - jazzy - yet street," riffs band leader, Aram Danesh.
Aram created the Super Human Crew to showcase the full range of his musical curiosity, with a sound that speaks the universal language of the groove, without forsaking his keen musical intelligence or dedication to compositions that challenge both his band and the audience.
